This is a personal project that I started when I was a planning a trip to go to PAX West 2018. The goal was to capture what its like to be at the event.
At that time, this was a challenging project to produce because I've never been to a large convention like PAX West before and I did not know what to expect. I've done some research and planning before hand and I tried to imagine the overall look and feel of the video.
The shoot took 4 days while battling the immense crowds, falling inline to receive souvenirs and playing gameplay demos at numerous booths.
This project was filmed on a Sony A6500.
The convention floor is crowded and is mostly dark which adds certain challenges to the overall project.
